At YES International School, students with overseas nationalities make up 15% of the entire student body. For this reason, a Japanese government-certified Registered Japanese Language Teacher designs our JSL (Japanese as a Second Language) curriculum, while bilingual Japanese language teachers, professional translators, and published authors teach practical, living Japanese that students can actually use.
We also provide advice for students who wish to enter high schools or universities in Japan. If you are coming to Japan from overseas to study, YES International School, with its strength in bilingual education, is the perfect choice. Please feel free to contact us about transfer admissions.
Although the majority of student intake is in April, Yokohama school accepts student application throughout the year.

Our school also provides beginner English courses and plans for students who are worried about their English ability at an International school.

At the moment, we are accepting applications for students from the beginning of Elementary school (Grade 1) to the end of Junior High School (Grade 9).

In addition, we also consider Pre-Grade 1 students on request from parents.
