Chizuko Oriyama

After working primarily in special needs education at junior high schools and special needs schools in Japan, she moved to Canada.

Based on the development of language, she taught Japanese to infants to adults of various nationalities through her work at a Japanese language school in Canada and as a private tutor.

Later, she moved to the U.S. and opened her own Japanese language school for infants and elementary school students, teaching them the importance of language as a form of communication.

She returned to Japan when her own children started school.
She came across YES International School, which had just opened, and has been teaching there ever since.

She majored in child psychology, developmental psychology, and clinical psychology.
