Eric Lo
Hello! My name is Eric Lo and I am the Art Coordinator and an English teacher at YES International School. I am originally from Sydney in Australia.

I worked in the design and creative field for about 4 years before switching my career path over to English teaching where I have worked for more than 10 years ranging from elementary school through to high school, in cram schools and 'eikawa' for corporate companies.

My dream is to provide students with a fun and exciting learning environment where they can laugh and have a good time whilst still reaping the benefits of being at a school. I believe that a school is not only an institution for academic results but perhaps more importantly, a place for social growth and guidance to become excellent role models for society.

As a teacher, I try to bring a balance of the students education through creativity and critical thinking binding it together with the students imagination and what they have learned through various unique projects where their inner artsy side is highly encouraged (but not necessary). At the end of the day, the important thing is that the student has a good, positive memory of the class.

My hobbies include playing basketball and snowboarding (I try to get a few runs in every season). I enjoy graphics, drawing and design and try to visit museums, popup exhibition whenever I get the chance. Thank you for your time!
